Testimony:
Going through the Jesus books and writing notes has been the best thing to boost my confidence in sharing my faith. It has helped me grow in love with Jesus and others very much. I began to feel very vividly that I was a disciple sitting right there at Jesus’ feet listening to him, walking with him. I had read through Matthew, Mark, Luke and John many times before cover to cover, but it just didn’t stick. But when I wrote things down, putting them in my own words, with the intention of teaching others, my heart and mind opened up in a new way. I recommend that every follower take a Jesus Journey and write it down.
After a moment with Jesus, Answer the following questions:
- For this section of verses, what did Jesus command or say (summarize)?
- What happened and what did Jesus do? (especially if it is something Jesus followers should imitate)
- How does this relate with me? Or, what do I like about it? Or how would I like this to relate to me?
- How can I love God or others better?
- How could I pray about this?
- What might God be saying to me from this?
- Is there something I read that I struggle with?
