Home of Step 4 - Run
Spiritual growth and strength in the ability to show great compassion doesn't happen automatically. The prerequisite Walk course identified step 3, and here we identify what happens at step 4. This page has all the links for the sessions in the course.

Overview of Step 4 - Run:
The Run step is for increased initensity, and stronger compassion. This step is for testing the wings to fly. Independence and maturity is not something a coach or teacher can do on behalf of the student. The disciples of Jesus were involved in charity works and special mission trips even before they were ready to be commissioned to go out on their own. The run step is like the adolescence stage of life. This is the time for experiential learning.
The Run Step seeks to answer these questions:
- What are all the commands of Jesus Christ (Teachings and Life)?
- Has the student gone on a mission trip, or engaged in special humanitarean endeavors involving the Great love?
- How might refusing, reducing, reusing, or recycling of resources (time, space, possessions, ideas, money, energy, etc) enable me to love?
- Is there real evidence of love for God and love for others?
- Is there confidence in Great love and the teachings of Jesus?
- Is the student ready to be commissioned?
Milestones reached by the end of the Run Step:
- Being commissioned and acceptance of the Great Commission
- Ownership of a life committed to Great Love, and the desire to share Great love with others.
- Independance and confidence in relationships.
- Connectivity and accountability regarding life balance. (This is making sure that someone caring still has the back of the student, even after the student becomes a teacher.)
